John M Billingsley (Samuel 7, Samuel 6, James 5, William 4, William 3, John 2 Francis 1) Born Barren County, Kentucky 19 November 1805, moved to Bledsoe County, Tennessee with his parents prior to 1812. He Married (1) prior to 1839 Mellie Metcalf born 18--, she died about 1841, and he married (2) 19 November 1843 Hannah D. Myers, born Tennessee 1815, daughter of John C. Myers and Miss Snoddy, see Myers Excursus. Resided Bledsoe County to 1855 then moved to Van Buren County, Tennessee where she died 9 April 1867, he married (3) Mariah Dickerson, born Virginia 1842, he died May 1883. He was a minister in the Christian church.
