Dau of William Stuart McClung & Sarah Maulden. Censuses say she was born in Alabama, but her grave record says Mississippi. I can find no record of her parents in 1840 or 1850.

1. His year and location of birth are unknown, and are reported inconsistently in the 5 censuses in which he appears
2.His death date is unknown. His grandchildren said that he died in Fannin County, Texas, where he appeared in the 1880 census.

His birth date and location and even his name inconsistently reported in U.S. Censuses, but that's about all we have. He was known to his grandchildren as "Ezra", but it is clear that his first name began with "A"; I have settled on "Azre"
