From gangrenous hepatitis. The surnames of Hannah and her father were recorded as "Fagan", which was probably a fabrication as was her recorded husband, Raymond Riley

When Laura May Everly Coffman died 2 August 1899, the family split up. By the next year 1900 census, Frank, husband, and 17 yr. old Hubert are listed with Alfred T and "Lue" Coffman, his parents. The other two boys, Archie Lee, age 11, and Charlie, age 9, went to live with their maternal grandma, Nancy Everly who was widowed. She also had two other family members living with her.

Archie married Fannie Charlotte Hutcheson on 22 Dec 1909 in Van Buren County, Tennessee, USA. Fannie (daughter of Leander Travis (L.T.) Hutcheson, Sr and Olive Irene Kuykendall) was born on 3 Jun 1890 in Pikeville, Bledsoe County, Tennessee, USA; died on 25 Sep 1988 in Clinton Twp, Macomb County, Michigan, USA; was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, USA. According to Jim Murphy, Fannie and her husband Arch Lee Coffman married December 22, 1909 and had seven children. They lived in the Detroit, Michigan area and Arch was a banker. He passed away while some of the children were small and Aunt Fannie had to work to support the family. She worked at Hudsons, a large department store in Detroit.
Jan Fielding Coffman says: I can add that when the department store was downsizing, they were going to let (granny) Fannie go. She went into the office and told the mgr that they should release a woman who has a husband to help support the family, she didn't and she needed that job to put food in her childrens' mouths! She kept the job and they kept that little spitfire on for many more years.
