    Died:
    Along with her sister, Eleanor, Susan was kidnapped or killed in an attack by Cherokees that killed her parents. No traces of her were ever found.

    He was killed by Cherokees shortly after moving to South Carolina. They also killed his wife and kidnapped or killed two daughters. His wife, Frances, was found dead a few days later, but the fate of the girls is unknown.
